Donate to the Union Against Lung Disease & TB

The International Union Against Tuberculosis & Lung Disease (The Union) is an international organization founded by members from 31 countries in 1920.  Now celebrating its centennial year, it brings together members from 129 countries in every world region.  The Union’s mission focuses on the fight against tuberculosis, tobacco, and lung disease--including COVID-19--in underserved populations worldwide.  The Union continues to lead ground-breaking public health and scientific projects all over the world.  However, the pandemic and its financial fallout have threatened The Union’s operations.

As a long-time supporter and partner of The Union, and its commitment to lung health and a world free of tuberculosis, the BC Lung Foundation (formerly the BC Lung Association) encourages its North American friends to make a financial contribution.  This will help ensure The Union’s survival and strengthen its position as a vital driver of lung health and advocacy worldwide.
