Health & Air Quality Webinars

Residential wood burning is a major concern in many BC communities and a major source of air pollution in BC, particularly of fine particulate matter (PM2.5).

BC Lung hosted a webinar addressing the issue in December 2021. Local experts presented information about the science of wood smoke, the risks it poses to health, and what BC is doing to reduce public exposure.
