TB case numbers in Canada have not changed for a decade, outbreaks of TB are still occurring in homeless shelters across Canada and in our northern aboriginal communities… In 2014 the WHO released a framework for TB elimination in low burden countries – what would it take for us to tackle TB elimination in Canada? The US has maintained a steady decrease in TB rates over the same period rates in Canada plateaued – how can we get back on track?
