Scientific Advisor, Healthy Indoor Environments Program
Anne-Marie Nicol, an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University and Co-Principal Investigator at CAREX Canada, a carcinogen surveillance program at Simon Fraser University that specializes in knowledge transfer concerning carcinogens.
Dr. Nicol leads CAREX’s radon program and is a co-lead of the national Take Action on Radon program, funded by Health Canada. Dr. Nicol is also currently on the board of the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technicians (CARST) and is an affiliated scientist with the BC Cancer Agency. She also works with on radon initiatives for public health through the National Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health, where she is a Knowledge Translation Scientist.
