Board Member

A Volunteer Director with BC Lung since 2001, Carolyn has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2019 and currently resides in Kamloops with her family. Carolyn attended Simon Fraser University, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree (Psychology Major, Criminology Minor) in 1988. She is a retired office manager and a full-time mother, caregiver, advocate, and volunteer.

Carolyn enjoys reading, swimming, gardening, cooking, and baking, and her greatest joy of all is her family. She is a caregiver to her mother who has Alzheimer's, and she loves to attend all the sporting events of her teenage children and is a dedicated volunteer at her children's school. Carolyn believes in the hard work and dedication of the BC Lung Foundation as it continues to fight for lung health. Carolyn's son has asthma and she lost her father to lung cancer, which gives her the determination to continue. Carolyn's dedication has only become stronger, her commitment deeper, and her passion lifelong.
