Jacquelyn Brinkman

Jacqui serves on the executive committee at BC Lung and has a MSc in Biology from McGill (molecular biology) and has worked at UBC for just over 20 years. For the first 7.5 years Jaqui worked at the Heart and Lung Institute at St. Paul's Hospital leading educational programming for postdocs, graduate students as well as the undergraduate summer program and initiatives such as high school student science week. Currently, she is the Director of Graduate Student Professional Development at Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Jacqui believes that BC lung is a very special community. From the staff, to the numerous researchers, health professionals, and professors in lung research in BC, everyone is so passionate about improving the lung health of people in BC and beyond.
