Physical activity is proven to improve energy levels, anxiety, stress, depression and sleep as well as the body's use of oxygen, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and shortness of breath.

Important: If you are living with a lung condition it is important to get your doctor's approval before your start a new exercise regime. Your doctor may also suggest strategies to help you get started, such as using a walker or referring you to a pulmonary rehabilitation program.
