
Dr. Janice Leung
Medical Advisor
Dr. Leung is a respirologist at St. Paul's Hospital and a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation. She is the GlaxoSmithKline Chair in COPD and a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Translational Airway Biology. Previous awards also include the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Health Professional Investigator Award and the CIHR-AstraZeneca Early Career Investigator Award. Her research interests are in chronic lung diseases affecting people living with HIV and the pulmonary impact of vaping and cannabis smoking, with ongoing studies funded by the Canadian Institues of Health Research. She completed her Bachelor’s Honours degree in History and Science at Harvard University and Doctor of Medicine degree at Johns Hopkins University.
