Chris Lam, BC Lung Foundation's President & CEO, talks to CBC TV at the 22nd annual "Climb the Wall" fundraiser, Sunday February 26.
Besides gaining media awareness, more than 350 participants showed up to climb the hotel's 48 storey staircase, and raised a goal-breaking $140,000 for the Foundation's Asthma Education Centre. The AEC will provide in-person (and, throughout BC, virtual) learning for the more than 100,000 BC kids/youth who live with asthma. The Asthma Education Centre will teach young people with asthma how to breathe easier.
