An estimated 220 radon-induced lung cancer deaths occur every year in British Columbia. Reducing radon exposure in B.C. homes and workplaces should be a public health priority and must be addressed at individual, community, provincial, and national levels.
This workshop will present ideas, case studies, and research on:
- burden of disease due to radon
- radon measurements in new and existing homes
- workplace exposure to radon
